***If you are interested in Stubby, please call his foster mom at 417-388-xxxx - do NOT send email*** Stubby is a very nice, very large kitty who is looking for a forever home to call his own. He was left behind, along with several other kitties when his owners moved to a new house. He found his way to a neighbor's house and she began to feed him. Eventually, she earned his trust and discovered him to be extremely affectionate. The nice lady took him to the vet to get his shots and got him neutered, too. She is unable to keep him and would like for him to find a nice home where he can hang out inside the house and be loved on by his family. Stubby likes to go outside, too, but he longs to be an inside cat from time to time. Stubby is about 5 to 7 years old and a large, solid MANX kitty. He has no tail at all. He is very shy at first, but is super affectionate once he trusts someone. He will need a very special family who is willing to be patient with him and wait for him to come out of his shell and blossom. He LOVES to be petted! Stubby is not really fond of the dog. If you have a dog and your dog is ok with cats, you would need to provide a safe place for Stubby where he could get away from the dog if he felt threatened - like a place up high. He is accustomed to being around other kitties, but proper introduction to other resident cats is a MUST with Stubby. Stubby is WONDERFUL when he rides in the car in his carrier. He doesn't get sick and he doesn't meow or make a big fuss. We would like to find a good home for Stubby where he could have lots of attention and feel like he is the special kitty that we know he is.
